Tabs and Indents

Hey there! Glad to see you back. Today we'll cover the difference between a tab and a first-line indent.

You should be familiar with a tab by now. Just a click to indent your paragraph. With the first line indent, you will have to format not just key your change.

When you add the "first line indent" as opposed to "Tab", You will be going to the Layout Menu, and then to the paragraph drop-down menu.

The first line indent can be found in the Layout Menu, click on the subcategory "Paragraph"  and then the Indents and Spacing, find the Indents and Spacing tab, and then find the "Indentation" menu. From the "Special" drop-down menu choose "first line indent" then click ok.

Your document should look like the above.

Hopefully, you've learned how to implement a first-line indent.

Until next week.
